Addis Ababa in Amharic (local language) meaning “New Flower" was found by Emperor Menelik II’s wife Empress Tahaitu Butil in 1887. Addis Ababa is growing from time to time. It is the home of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) and also the headquarters of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA). The most interesting places to be visited in Addis include but not limited to: "Merkato", the biggest open air markets in Africa, the National or Archaeological and the ethnological Museums, representing the national history and cultural heritages as well as collection of fossils, where the skeleton of "Lucy" dated back to 3.4 million years.

The following will be added on Addis Ababa City Tour. The National History Museum, The Zoological Museum (where different specimens of wildlife and bird life) is found. The Minilik's Mausoleum, the St. George cathedral and Trinity church.
